I just paid for a membership. How do I get it?

There are no MHF membership cards or badges given out before the festival. When you arrive at MHF make sure to check so we can verify who you are and that you meet the minimum age requirements. Once you’re checked in you will receive your membership badge. The badge is required to be worn while attending MHF and visible for you to receive samples from other participating members/clubs.

Where can I find entry details, costs and deadlines to enter the Michigan Beer Cup?

Although the winners of the Michigan Beer Cup are announced at MHF the competition is run separately from the festival. All information regarding entry fees, dates, entry drop off for the Michigan Beer Cup can be found at http://www.michiganbeercup.com

Why do I need to become a member to attend the Festival?

Due to State laws homebrewed beverages such as beer, wine, cider, and mead cannot be sold to, purchased or consumed by the general public however members of a homebrew club such as the MHF can share samples of their beverages with other members and due to the State Laws anyone that attends an MHF event must be a member and we are not able to offer single day passes or discounted memberships.

Will food be available for purchase during MHF?

Details for those events can be found on either our Events page or in the News feed. We also have a food truck available during certain hours offering multiple food options.
